| Event Description: Ken Miller, Department of Mathematics, Wichita StateÌýUniversity Steady axisymmetric vortex flows Steady axisymmetric vortex flows both with and without swirl will be discussed. Existence theorems for the non-linear partial differential equations that model such flows, as well as an iterative numerical method for computing then, will be discussed. |
