Marina Kassianidou’s practice combines drawing, painting, collage, artist’s books, art writing, and installation. Her works focus on processes of responsive mark making, where her marks respond to features of the surface/space being marked. She usually works with everyday surfaces and spaces, approaching the act of marking as a way of relating to the world around her.
