In academic year 2025/2026, the Biochemistry Department awarded over $xx in scholarships to Biochemistry undergraduates. These scholarships were established by grateful biochemistry alumni, inspired charitable foundations, and supportive faculty and community members who believe that a biochemistry degree provides a foundation for advanced medical careers, biomedical and advanced scientific discoveries, a basic and deep understanding of how the living world functions, and more. In 2026, we willÌýcontinue recognizing stand-out scholars and hope to increase opportunities for our growing student body with additional support and personal investment.
