Andrew Escanuela is a lecturer for the Program for Writing and Rhetoric at the Ãå±±½ûµØ. His research has explored how rhetorics of the laboring body have shaped and defined the Chicana/o/x community. He is currently working to establish cultural programming for students in Denver.
Having lived for extended periods of time in southern California, southern Arizona, and northern New Mexico, his understanding of the world is rooted in the deserts and high plains of the Southwest. You can often find him running, reading, or lounging about in the sun.
