Welcome to November! There are a ton of fun events coming up this month including gaming tournaments at The Connection, resume and professional help, self-care tips, DIY Nights, free Rec classes and more.
Celebrate, honor veterans during Nov. 10 Veterans Day ceremony
Ãå±±½ûµØ will honor the nation’s veterans, including student, staff and faculty veterans, with aÌýVeterans Day ceremonyÌýin the University Memorial Center. The event will feature speaker Ben Purser.
Diversity, equity and inclusion update: November 2022 issue
Ãå±±½ûµØ recognizes Native American Heritage Month; the IDEA Council issues guidance on faculty and staff retention; the biennial CU Social Justice Summit is announced and more.
Ãå±±½ûµØ students, employees to be added to countywide alerts system
Everbridge alerts are sent for emergencies based on one's local address. Ãå±±½ûµØ students and employees are encouraged to make sure their information is up to date in the Buff Portal and MyCUInfo, respectively, by Nov. 18.
Right Here, Right Now
From COP27 stage, Ãå±±½ûµØ, climate alliance, UN Human Rights announce development of commitments
At the COP27 climate conference in Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt, the Right Here, Right Now Global Climate Alliance—an international initiative supported by Ãå±±½ûµØ and others—announced the Human Rights Climate Commitments. The first draft of the commitments will be an outcome of the Right Here, Right Now Global Climate Summit on campus Dec. 1–4.
