University Retiree Parking

The Ãå±±½ûµØ honors retirees with parking access. Any person classified by the university’s Department of Human Resources as a retired employee of Ãå±±½ûµØ is eligible for this privilege.

Spring 2025 Voluntary Retirement Incentive Program Participants

If you are retiring effective June 2025, we must be able to verify your new retiree status prior to granting retiree parking access. Your new status may take a few days to be reflected in the system. You can verify your current status with your department's HR liaison or emailing parking@colorado.edu or calling our office at 303-735-PARK (7275).

  • Eligible retired employees who requestÌýretiree parkingÌýwill be issued aÌývirtual permitÌýthat is valid in lots 282, 308, 436, and 560 on a space-available basis.
  • Additionally, retirees may park at no charge in lots 204 and 310 from 5 p.m. – 7:30 a.m. weekdays, and at all times on weekends with the vehicle registered.
  • Parking in any lot other than those listed above will be subject to regular faculty/staff permit fees. Contact Parking Services' customer service specialists at 303-735-PARK (7275) if the retiree parking does not meet your needs.
  • The only vehicle(s) authorized to use the virtual retiree parking are vehicle(s) registered to the retiree. Violations may result in a ticket, tow and cancellation of parking access.
  • During major campus events, retiree parking patrons will be redirected to alternate parking lots.
